PURCHASE INFORMATION
If you are interested in purchasing one of our puppies please use the contact us tab to send us some information about yourself and what you are looking for. We take placing our babies very seriously and want to make sure they will be going to good homes where they will be well cared for.
We require a 50% deposit with a contract in order to hold a puppy. Puppies are usually released to their new homes when they are 8-10 weeks old and eating solid food. Each puppy is different and we want to make sure they are healthy and thriving and ready to go before releasing them so in some cases this may take a little longer.
Puppies will have their tails docked, dew claws removed and receive age appropriate vaccines and multiple wormings before leaving us. All puppies are sold on a spay/neuter contract unless other arrangements are made in advance of purchase. New owners will have 72 hours from the time of purchase to take the puppy for a vet check for the 1 year health guarantee to apply.

Please see below paperwork regarding deposit contract, spay/neuter contract and health guarantee. You must read and agree to these terms prior to placing a deposit on a puppy. Deposits are non refundable.
Puppy Deposit
Agreement To Hold a Puppy until Puppy Reaches Age Ready for Pickup
Deposit Price of: $____________ with the intent to pick up ________________by the time the puppy reaches a maximum of 10 weeks of age. Date of release is determined by when the puppy is completely weaned from mother and consistently eating puppy food.
Deposit is NON REFUNDABLE. Should the buyer decide that they no longer want the puppy or are no longer able to take the puppy for any reason they forfeit their deposit. If the puppy is not picked up and paid for in full by 10 weeks of age (unless other arrangements have been agreed upon in advance) the deposit will be forfeited and the puppy will be re-sold. The only reason the deposit price would be refunded to the buyer, would be in the event that the puppy should become too sick to sell or should die while in our care and another puppy is not available for the buyer. Should this happen, the buyer would have the choice of forwarding the deposit to the next litter due or a monetary refund of deposit.
By placing a deposit you agree to pay the balance of $___________ in cash at the time of pick up.
The Seller reserves the right to void this transaction if we learn of any legitimate reason why Buyer might not be suitable for the puppy and no refund will be given – ( i.e. Buyer is found to be an animal abuser, violent person, representative of a Pet Store, representative of a pharmaceutical research laboratory, etc.).
If purchaser can no longer care for puppy for any reason and proof of spay/neuter has not been received, the purchaser MUST return the puppy to seller and no refund will be given. If purchaser sells or rehomes puppy prior to proof of spay/neuter being provided to seller, purchaser will be in breach of contract and seller has the right to recover puppy from new owners with no financial reimbursement. We want to ensure that the puppy will be placed in a suitable home, be well taken care of and not be used by a puppy mill. Purchaser agrees not to place puppy in a pound, Humane Society, rescue or any facility of that kind. Please contact us first if you can no longer take care of the puppy.
By signing below, Buyer states that he/she has read the aforementioned Deposit Contract and is in complete agreement and fully understands that the deposit is NON REFUNDABLE if the buyer changes their mind, is no longer able to take the puppy for any reason or does not pick up and pay in full by 10 weeks of age.

SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT
Buyers name: ____________________________, agrees that ____________ was purchased at pet/companion price and understands that the buyer has no breeding rights. Buyer agrees to provide proof of spay/neuter from their licensed vet to the seller within 6 months and understands that proof of spay/neuter must be received by the breeder before registration papers will be given to them. Buyer agrees that ____________ is not to be bred at any time, under any circumstances, either accidentally or intentionally. If bred, the buyer must surrender her back to the seller (at the buyers’ expense) for breach of contract. Buyer understands and agrees that if proof of spay/neuter is not received within 6 months, the buyer will be required to surrender said puppy back to the seller (at buyers’ expense) for breach of contract. The buyer understands and agrees that if there is any breach in this contract the buyer will be subject to legal actions. This contract is legal and binding, in the County of Cherokee, State of Alabama. Any disputes will be handled in Cherokee County, AL.

First Year Health Guarantee
We guarantee your Yorkie puppy to be in good health. You must have your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 business hours of taking possession. If your veterinarian finds any congenital defects or serious illness with your puppy, you may choose to return the puppy for an exchange from current litter if available or from the next litter produced. Puppy will be returned to Seller at Purchaser’s expense. Purchaser is also responsible for any delivery fees for the replacement puppy. Original puppy must be returned prior to a replacement puppy being delivered. No cash refund will be given. You must provide a letter from the examining veterinarian as evidence of the puppy’s illness, all paperwork and supplies given by seller along with the puppy within 72 business hours of taking possession of the puppy. Seller will not be responsible for any vet bills incurred. Seller will not be responsible for illness or injury due to neglect or falls from the purchaser.
We do not guarantee against low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), kennel cough, hernias, giardia, coccidia, ear mites, ear infections, worms, floppy ears, fleas, ticks or other parasites because all these issues are treated/treatable, or prevention measures can/have been taken, on a regular basis prior to the sale of the puppy. These are not major health issues if treated properly by new owners. We do not guarantee placement of second teeth or the dropping of testicles or warranty in respect to trachea problems, luxating patellas, inguinal hernias or open fontanels as these are not serious health issues and are common in the Yorkshire Terrier breed. Our guarantee covers congenital defects that would not allow a puppy to grow or age to a normal life expectancy. Examples would be failure of a major organ which sustains life such as heart, lungs, liver, etc., these would be considered congenital defects and are warranted until _________. Bone-joint issues, going blind, becoming deaf, limping or hernias which may develop after purchase is not covered. We reserve the right to have our own vet examine the puppy before an exchange is given. All medical records for puppy must be provided upon return of puppy to verify that the puppy was properly vaccinated, wormed, given preventative medicines and cared for. If proper records cannot be provided this guarantee is null and void. No exchanges will be given after the one year guarantee. Under no circumstances will a cash refund be given.
We estimate the size and color of your puppy based on the knowledge of our dogs and the individual puppy’s growth. However, a puppy’s environment and diet can affect its size and personality. We cannot control the environment and diet once the puppy leaves our care so we cannot guarantee size, coat quality, length and color, temperament, look of dog, ability to show, housebreaking or personality. You will be provided with food currently being fed to puppy. Any sudden changes in your puppy’s diet can cause diarrhea. Make all dietary changes slowly to allow your puppy to adjust. This guarantee is offered to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.
I HAVE READ AND AGREE TO ABIDE BY THE ABOVE CONTRACT. I UNDERSTAND THAT NO OTHER GUARANTEES ARE MEANT OR IMPLIED OTHER THAN WHAT IS STATED IN THE WRITING OF THIS CONTRACT. I UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT THE SELLER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY VET EXPENSES INCURRED IN CONNECTION WITH THIS PUPPY ONCE THE PUPPY LEAVES SELLERS POSSESSION.
